KNOXVILLE (WATE) - One of the most popular restaurants in downtown Knoxville is set to reopen later this week.

Tupelo Honey was forced to close after it's basement flooded a few days ago.

A sign hanging from the restaurant's wall on Monday evening announces the Market Square fixture will reopen Saturday morning.

A ruptured sprinkler system pipe was to blame for the flooding. The business says thousands of dollars of equipment were destroyed in the process.

Both Shono's in the City and the Oliver Hotel were previously closed due to flooding, although both establishments have since reopened.
