KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Clinton man was arrested for robbing a Knoxville credit union just over 24 hours after the crime was committed.

The FBI says Charles Edward Harmon, 38, was arrested around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in Clinton.

The Knoxville Division of the FBI says Clinton entered the Enrichment Federal Credit Union, 5201 Schubert Road, around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday and gave a note to employees.

He got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

Harmon is expected to appear in U.S. District Court on Thursday.
