LANCING (WATE) - Two men were killed and a woman injured in a Morgan County car crash Saturday night, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
THP officials say 43-year-old Jeffery Sherill of Centerville was driving a truck east on State Highway 298 just before midnight when he failed to negotiate a curve.
Officials say the truck then ran off the road, striking several trees and a utility pole before overturning and coming to rest on the driver's side.
Sherill and a passenger, 54-year-old Stevie Russell of Grimsley, were both killed in the crash.
Another passenger, 20-year-old Tiffany Wilson, was injured in the crash.
According to the accident report, all involved parties were under the influence of both drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash; none were wearing seatbelts.
