MARYVILLE (WATE) - Maryville police say they may have solved a rash of car burglaries after a 20-year-old man confessed to the crimes.
Devin Blane McKeehan admitted to breaking into 50-100 cars in Maryville and other parts of Blount County after he was arrested as a suspect in one burglary.
The auto burglaries took place in August.
Police say McKeehan was caught on video from a gas station surveillance camera using a credit card that had been stolen from a car.
He faces auto burglary and a burglary charge after being booked Saturday in the Blount County Detention Facility.
