Armed robbery suspect sought in West Knox County

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A West Knox County convenience store was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

The robbery took place around 6:45 a.m. at the Breadbox store, 1606 Lovell Road.

The suspect is described as a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark ski mask, yellow rubber gloves, tan cargo pants, and a black shirt.

He is described as between 5'7" and 5"11" tall and 135-160 pounds. He appeared to be in his mid-20s to -30s 

The robber pointed a black handgun at the clerk as he demanded money, then put the money in a black backpack before fleeing on foot.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says no one was hurt.
