Louisville man accused of killing neighbor's dog remains in jail

MARYVILLE (WATE) - A Blount County man charged with intentionally killing his neighbor's dog was back in court Thursday.

Fred Lee Wright, 62, is currently being held in the Blount County Detention Facility. He is accused of killing his neighbor's dog last month in Louisville.

Deputies say Wright admitted to killing the animal.

Wright's case was rescheduled for September 26.

Bond has still not been set.
