GREENEVILLE (WATE) - A search is underway for a missing woman who disappeared Wednesday evening.

Officers from the Greene County Sheriff's Department, the Greeneville/Greene County Rescue Squad, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol are searching for Rebecca Larosa Ryans, 47.

The search is being conducted in the Ducktown area of northeastern Greene County near the Washington County line.

Ryans was last seen near her home.

She is described as a white female with dark complexion, long blonde hair and brown eyes. She has a thin build, weighing about 110 lbs. and standing 5' 7" tall.

Authorities say foul play is not suspected at this time, but they have not said what prompted the search.
