HARRIMAN (WATE) – Family and friends gathered Friday night to remember a five-year-old East Tennessee boy.

Landon Robbins was found dead last Friday.

His mother Jessica Robbins told deputies that her son had an accident on a swing set. Investigators say his injuries were consistent with multiple blunt force trauma.

A vigil was held from Friday night in Harriman at Riverfront Park.

There was singing and special speakers. The crowd also lit candles in Landon's memory.

"Even if he was a mean child, no child deserves that," said Jerry Walls, his grandfather. "But, he wasn't a mean child, he wasn't rambunctious, he wasn't hyper active. He was just a quiet loving little boy, just wanted love that's all he asked for was just to be loved."

Jessica Robbins and her boyfriend Bradley Adcox are facing multiple charges including first degree murder.

They went before a judge Friday morning to be arraigned.

They'll be back in court September 18.
