BEAN STATION (WATE) - A grand jury indicted Monday the Grainger County man accused of killing two people and injuring two others in a shooting at a Bean Station pharmacy last spring.

Former police officer Jason Holt is accused of entering the Down Home Pharmacy on Highway 25E in Bean Station in late May, stealing prescription pills and then shooting four people.

Pharmacy owner Stephen Lovell and a customer, Richard Sommerville, were shot and killed.

Alexia Wilson and Janet Clift were also shot. They survived.

Holt faces charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault and possession of a gun during a felony.

Prosecutors have said they will seek the death penalty. Holt remains in jail without bond.
