CRAB ORCHARD (WATE) – A pray vigil was held Sunday night to remember the four young people found shot to death early Thursday morning.

The bodies of Rikki Jacobsen, 22, Steven Presley, 17, Domonic Davis, 17, and John Lajeunesse, 16, were found with multiple gunshot wounds in a car near Crab Orchard.

About 300 people from churches in the Crab Orchard area held the vigil and healing service Sunday night. The goal was to remember the families of the victims as well as the suspect.

The community posted letters and flowers at the ball field.

Pastors from the churches say their community is strong and they are determined to recover.

"There's been a lot of sadness," said Pastor Terry Swaw. "A lot of sorrow. A lot of folks are uncertain of what they're going to do. We're not fearful of what has happened in our community, but we are shaken. It's not a time that we pack up and move out. It's time we roll up our sleeves and find out what we can do to make it a better place."
