OAK RIDGE (WATE) - Tonight another "In God We Trust" sign is hanging in Anderson County.

This one was unveiled at the Anderson County Sessions Court building in Oak Ridge.

Back in July, "In God We Trust" signs went up at the Anderson County courthouse in Clinton.

County Commission approved the signs in February after a lengthy debate over separation of church and state.

When asked about those still opposed to the signs, County Mayor Terry Frank had this message:

"It was a vote that took place in a democratic process. It was an overwhelming majority. I know there are folks who are unhappy about it, but it's our national motto. It doesn't have to be viewed in a religious aspect."

During today's ceremony, a plaque commemorating the Anderson county soldiers who died in Iraq and Afghanistan was also unveiled.
