NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A 22-year-old man was arrested Sunday night for leaving two toddlers unattended inside a car near Bridgestone Arena.

Errad Bell told police he parked down the street from the arena when he ran inside to pick-up his girlfriend who was working the Predators game.

Her two children, ages two and three, were left inside the car.

A police sergeant at the Central Police Precinct, which is located inside the arena, spotted the children.

Bell had no remorse, according to an affidavit, and didn't understand the severity of what he did.  He told police he locked the car and left the windows down.

Bell also claimed he was keeping an eye on the car the whole time, but police said they were standing at the vehicle for at least 20 minutes.

He was arrested on two counts of child neglect and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
