West Knoxville water main break forces businesses to go without water

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A water main break in West Knoxville caused a few inconveniences Thursday morning.

The water line broke about 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of Northshore and Agnes Road.

One lane of traffic was closed on Northshore between Agnes Road and Creswell Drive to allow crews to repair the damage.

The Knoxville Utilities Board says workers will be on the scene until about 4 p.m.

The work will not affect Sacred Heart Catholic School, but several nearby businesses will have to go without water until the break is repaired.
