WINFIELD (WATE) – The family of a Scott County woman continues to pray for her safe return two years after her disappearance.

Christina Bussell of Winfield was last seen on September 28, 2011.

To mark the anniversary, several dozen people attended a candlelight vigil at General Winfield Scott Memorial Park.

Bussell has two children, who are 5 and 8-years-old. Her sister says she would never have left them behind.

Two years later, the family continues to follow every tip they receive, hoping they'll see their loved one again.

"It's so unreal," said sister Alisha Gregory. "It's like you wake up, and it's like a nightmare every day. You think where do I go, what do I do. And there's nothing you can do."

Bussell was last seen along Highway 27 in Scott County.

At the time of her disappearance, she had long brown hair and weighed about 100-pounds.
