CROSSVILLE (WATE) - Authorities say two runaway teens from the Cumberland Mountain School Youth Impact Center have been located.

Hunter Smith and Jacob Crow, both 15 years old, were reported missing from the Cumberland Mountain School Youth Impact Center, a home for boys who are low level offenders.

Crossville police received a tip Wednesday that Smith was seen in the Dogwood Avenue area where his grandmother lives. Officers did not find Smith at his grandmother's house, but did find him walking toward the house a short time later.

That same day, Crossville police received another tip about the location of Crow. They were told he was staying at a residence in Fentress County. Crossville police and the Fentress County Sheriff's Office conducted a joint operation to recover Crow.

Both were taken into custody and charged as runaways.

The investigation is ongoing into the participation of others who may have been harboring the two teens.
