JACKSBORO (WATE) - A Campbell County High School teacher arrested on school grounds for public intoxication and drug possession was arrested again Friday after allegedly showing up for her court hearing under the influence.

Angleen Sweat Broyles, 56, was charged with DUI second offense Friday. Police say she hit another car while attempting to park at the courthouse for a hearing on her previous charges.

Bond was set Monday morning at $3,000.

Broyles was arrested at Campbell County High School on Sept. 26 after her students noticed she seemed disoriented. She was arrested after failing field sobriety tests.

Broyles admitted she had taken prescription medication and several loose Xanax pills were found in her purse.

School officials say Broyles was a special education teacher for around 30 years.
