KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Dozens of demonstrators took part Saturday in a national movement called March Against Monsanto.

Monsanto is a large biotech company that makes genetically modified organisms or GMOs. Protesters today say they are pushing for labeling of GMO products. They also want to spread awareness, believing the public needs to know more about what's in processed foods.

"If you know like I know.... if it's got corn oil or soybean oil in the product, more than likely it's a genetically modified food," said Richard Esparza.

Saturday's demonstrators say GMOs have a variety of health risks including infertility.
