Memphis police seeks self-exposing 'Peeping Tom'

MEMPHIS (AP) - Memphis police are searching for what they describe as a "Peeping Tom" who has been exposing himself in residential backyards.

Sgt. Alyssa Macon-Moore says the man is thought to be between 18 and 25, standing 5'10" to 6'0", 150 to 170 lbs. and wearing dark clothing.

Macon-Moore says the man was seen at 1:10 a.m. CDT on Friday after a 58-year-old woman heard someone in her backyard and saw the man masturbating.

Macon-Moore says the woman banged on a window to stop the man, but he continued the behavior

Several incidents regarding a male peeping through the rear of residential windows and exposing himself have been reported in the same area within the last month. The incidents occurred between 1a.m. and 6 a.m.

No arrest has been made.
