KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Dozens of people rallied Sunday in World's Fair Park to call on lawmakers to end the government shutdown.

Those who couldn't make it to Washington Sunday wanted to back the Million Vet March movement in Knoxville. They gathered at the East Tennessee Veteran Memorial in World's Fair Park.

Protesters said they were angry the National Park Service set up barricades around the Veterans Memorials.

The government shutdown is now in its 13th day.
