KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Six people have been arrested for a string of at least 16 residential burglaries in Knox County, Knoxville and Union County.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says George Kapaya, 20, was arrested at the City-County Building on Oct. 10 after coming in to be questioned about a burglary on Oct. 7.

Anil Kaysosingh, 19; Neal Kaysosingh, 20; Bethany Ellen Hodges, 19; and Jacob Nathaniel Snelson, 18, were arrested on Oct. 15 after breaking into a home on Gamble Drive.

A sheriff's deputy found the four at Arby's on Emory Road after they fled the home in a vehicle.

Callentano Rodriguez, 29, was arrested at his home on Highland Drive later that evening on an outstanding warrant out of Texas for parole violation.

The suspects have been tied to at least 16 local burglaries. Four of the 16 burglaries were committed in Knox County, eight in the city of Knoxville, and four in Union County.

Five of the six are currently being held in the Knox County Sheriff's Detention Facility. George John Kapaya is charged with aggravated burglary and has been released. Anil Kaysosingh is charged with two counts of aggravated burglary with a combined bond amount of $30,000. Neal Kaysosingh is charged with aggravated burglary with a $10,000 bond. Hodges is charged with aggravated burglary with a $5,000 bond. Snelson is charged with two counts of aggravated burglary with a combined bond amount of $22,000. Rodriguez is being held until Texas authorities extradite.
