ALCOA (WATE) - A woman died Sunday following a motorcycle crash on Bessemer Street in Alcoa.

A spokesperson for the Alcoa Police Department says Beebie Suzanne Wright, 42, was driving a maroon 2005 Harley Davidson eastbound on Bessemer Street about 5:43 p.m. Sunday.

A 1998 Ford F150 driven by Faith Forrester pulled out from McCammon Avenue in front of Wright's motorcycle, failing to yield the right of way, causing Wright to hit the side of the truck.

Wright was pronounced dead at University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Officers do not believe drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
