KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Four Knoxville-area volleyball teams are chasing state titles in Middle Tennessee this week.

Webb and CAK finished as state runners-up last volleyball season and are back in the tournament this year. Joining them are Farragut and Grace Christian.

The Lady Admirals of Farragut may have the most daunting task. They face three-time state champions, Ravenwood in round one tomorrow.

Farragut has 46 wins this year. Their best season was just two years ago in 2011 when they won a school-record 53 matches and finished 5th in the state.

That was their last trip to the state tournament.

Farragut Setter Emma Milstead talked about the 2011 team compared to the team now.

"Those girls were the ones we looked up to and now we have the opportunity to possibly do better than they did and that's been our goal since the beginning of the season so I think that's what we want to do. Just getting to state isn't enough," Milstead said.

Susan Davidson, Farragut's Head Coach talked about the team and the importance of the team culture for the girls she coaches.

"Records are great but what's really important is building relationships among your team members and enjoying your ride," Davidson said.

This is not the year of 2011, this is the year of 2013 and it's going to be what they make. The lady admirals won their regular season district title and the region championship. They, along with CAK, Webb and Grace Christian, will try to turn those into state titles.
