16-year-old killed in Giles County crash

GILES COUNTY, Tenn. -

A 16-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Giles County on Wednesday.

Tennessee Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred on Highway 64 near the intersection of Big Dry Creek Road just before 5 p.m.

Makenzie Myers of Pulaski, Tennessee was killed after she turned onto Highway 64 into another vehicle's lane of traffic.

Neither passenger in the second vehicle was injured.

THP reported Myers was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.

No further information has been released.
