KNOXVILLE (WATE) - You might want to grab an umbrella and rain jacket before you head out the door Monday.
The 6 Storm Team says light showers will be moving through East Tennessee, but they will slowly taper off by the evening.
Monday's high is slightly warmer than it has been at 66 degrees. Monday night's low is 48 degrees.
A warming trend really takes off Tuesday. Highs will be back in the low 70s.
The 6 Storm Team says temperatures will stay in the low 70s on Wednesday and Thursday, but rain returns Thursday night. That is Halloween, so we'll watch the timing of this system closely for trick or treating.
We could even have some embedded thunderstorms overnight on Halloween. It all moves out on Friday, but we'll cool down again with highs back in the low 60s for the weekend.
