More warm weather expected Wednesday

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Wednesday is another warm day in East Tennessee.

The 6 Storm Team says to expect highs in the mid-70s. An isolated morning shower is possible but most areas will be dry.

After another mild Wednesday night with lows in the mid 50s, we will warm to a high of 70 on Halloween.

Unfortunately, things change up Halloween night. The wind will pick up, and rain/storms will move in around sunset.

We also have a risk of strong winds, possibly even damaging winds, in the high elevations. We will be watching this system closely.

The rain continues for Friday morning, but it moves out by Friday afternoon.

If you don't already have it, download our WATE Weather application to stay updated. It's a free download, just search "Knoxville weather" on your phone's app store. You can also get more weather information from the 6 Storm Team weather page or facebook.
