Some wind, rain expected Halloween night

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Trick-or-treaters could see some rain and wind on Halloween.

The 6 Storm Team says Thursday is warm with highs in the low 70s. It's also windy with a wind advisory for the high elevations going into effect late Thursday afternoon through the night.

The heaviest rain should move in after trick-or-treat time, although we will have a 40 percent coverage of spotty showers around the evening time.

After 8 p.m., the coverage goes up to 90 percent with heavy downpours and high wind around midnight.

The rain and wind continue into the early morning hours on Friday, but we dry out quickly with partly cloudy skies by lunch. Friday highs will reach nearly 70 degrees.
