KNOXVILLE (WATE) - With the temptation of food and treats this holiday season, it's important to work off those calories.

On Good Morning Tennessee this Friday, Sarah Van Sickle McClain, who is the winner of the Under Armour Challenge, spoke about an exercise event she is leading this weekend as well as some tips for women to stay in shape.

McClain talked about some exercises you can do without having to go to the gym.

One of those is a burpee, which McClain says is an exercise that started in the military.

She says many women are intimidated by burpees but showed that the exercise can be modified and changed into different levels depending on the person.

"You go down, you get a push up at the bottom, then you jump up and explode up," McClain explained about one version of the burpee.

She is leading workouts at the Under Armour What's Beautiful event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.  It's being held at Belk Women's at West Town Mall.
