CORRYTON (WATE) - Some people are already thinking about decorating for Christmas, even though it's only the beginning of November. At House Mountain Christmas Tree Farm in Corryton, they work year-round to have evergreens ready for your living room each winter. The owners say all the rain this year has made for some very good-looking trees.

Norma Henry and her husband Zach started the farm in the early 90s.

"We've had families coming to us for 15 years, and now they're bringing their grandchildren," Norma said.

Zach passed away in the spring, so this year, grandson Ezra is stepping up to help his grandmother with the harvest. Norma says families will be thrilled to see the condition of the trees this season.

"They are better this year because of the rain. They are thicker and greener. We are just really thankful they are so pretty," Norma said.

Believe it or not, customers are ready for them.

"I've already had two or three calls," Norma said.

Business really picks up the weekend after Thanksgiving, and Ezra is hoping for chilly temperatures, maybe even snow.

"When it's colder, people are more excited about coming and buying a Christmas tree," he said.

After this winter, though, the future of House Mountain Christmas Tree Farm is uncertain.

"I'm not sure if I'm going to be here next year," Ezra said.

They can't see shutting down the farm for good. They love being a part of so many families' Christmas traditions.

"Being able to see people excited about coming out and buying trees and getting to help build memories for people is great," Ezra said.

Tree prices range from $30 to $140. Some trees are as tall as 14 feet this year.

House Mountain Christmas Tree Farm is located at 6300 Childs Road in Corryton. They start regular weekday hours after Thanksgiving. If you need a tree before that, call Norma Henry at (865) 687-0324.
