KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knox County woman was granted a temporary order of protection Monday against Roane County murder suspect Shawn Smoot.

In the filing, Kimberly Isenberg says Smoot pulled up beside her vehicle in a hair salon parking lot on Oct. 31.

She says Smooth began asking how she was and asked if she was stalking him.

Isenberg says this was the second time Smoot showed up at the hair salon. She said he walked into the salon on Aug. 20 while Isenberg was getting her hair washed.

She says he walked around, grabbed her arm, and said he had been looking for her.

Isenberg said she was afraid Smoot was stalking her. She had broken off all contact with Smoot in September 2011 when he was charged with murdering girlfriend Brooke Nicole Morris in Roane County.

Morris had also filed an order of protection against Smoot.

Smoot is out of jail on bond.
