KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Knox County woman and her husband were arrested Wednesday after a grand jury returned multiple indictments of child abuse.

Jessica Ann Cox, 37, and Kenneth Michael McIntosh, 38, were arrested at their home on Canton Hollow Drive Wednesday afternoon.

Cox is charged with 29 counts of aggravated child abuse. McIntosh faces 17 counts including aggravated child abuse and child abuse.

Each are being held in the Knox County Detention Center on $200,000 bond.

Cox has a criminal history in Knox County that includes aggravated child abuse, child abuse, possession of legend drug without prescription, simple possession/casual exchange, and theft by shoplifting.

She was arrested in May for allegedly handcuffing her two stepsons to each other and kitchen cabinets. The case was bound over to the grand jury last month.
