Knoxville Bar Association offering free programs to answer questions about the law


KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knoxville Bar Association is offering several free programs next week about advice on important issues.

The Law Talk Programs will be held Friday, Nov. 15 at O'Connor Senior Center and Saturday, Nov. 16 at Fellowship Church.

The "Wills and Estate Planning for Everyone" will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. each day. Topics of discussion include wills and trusts, along with gift and tax planning.

The "Legal Protection for the Elderly, the Disabled and their Caregivers" will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Items that will be addressed include the latest in government benefits programs, the best to handle caregiving payments and special needs planning.

At each location, local lawyers will present information and answer questions from the audience.
