Temperatures start warming up Friday

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Temperatures are beginning to warm up in time for the weekend.

The 6 Storm Team says clouds will thicken up Friday with some light, scattered rain arriving by the evening.

Keep a rain jacket handy for high school football playoff games Friday night.

Friday's high is 55 degrees with an overnight low of 45, so it won't be as cold as it has been lately.

Rain moves out after midnight, and Saturday looks fantastic. We'll be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s.

Sunday makes it to 70 degrees before rain and storms arrive again by Sunday evening. Some of Sunday's storms may be strong with high wind.
