KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Former Roane County murder suspect Leon Houston was found guilty Tuesday of threatening his former defense attorney during a jailhouse phone call.

Houston was acquitted earlier this month by a federal jury after being charged with having firearms while in possession of drugs following a January raid on property owned by him and his brother Rocky.

While in jail on those charges, Houston was accused of threatening his former defense attorney Jim Logan during a phone call to another party.

Logan successfully defended Houston in a double murder case. He later foreclosed on a piece of the Houstons' land over unpaid legal fees.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 4, 2014. The charge carries a sentence of up to five years in prison.
