COSBY (WATE) - Three people were arrested and hundreds of prescription pain pills, large amounts of cocaine and marijuana, weapons, and cash were seized after a huge drug bust near a school in Cocke County.

Brian Carver, 39, is charged with possession with intent to resale schedule II cocaine in a drug free school zone, sale and delivery of a controlled substance, in a drug free school zone, and sale and delivery of schedule II in a drug free school zone.

Sandra Messer, 40, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule 3 with intent to resale in a school zone.

Lisa Williamson, 45 is charged with two counts of possession of schedule II, possession of schedule II, possession of schedule IV, and possession of schedule V.

After a number of anonymous tips were sent to the Cocke County Sheriff's Department website and an extensive drug investigation in Cosby, undercover agents were able to purchase oxycodone pills from Williamson while she was bartending at the Three Way Inn Bar in Cosby.

Throughout the investigation, deputies performed numerous traffic stops which resulted in the collection of drugs stemming from the bar.

Agents also purchased pills from Williamson's home on Nightingale Way in Newport, as well as from Williamson's brother, Brian Carver, at the bar.

All charges for purchases while at the bar will be enhanced due to the crimes being committed within the Smoke Mountain Elementary School zone.

On the night of the search warrant, officers divided into two groups. One went to the Three Way Inn Bar, while the other went to Williamson's home.

The group that went to the bar immediately detained everyone inside for safety. A search for weapons was conducted and each person checked for warrants.

During the search, bartender Sandra Messer was found to have 25 hydrocodone pills and plastic straws commonly used for snorting crushed prescription pain pills.

Carver, who is a convicted felon, was found to have a clear plastic bag of white powdery substance believed to be cocaine in his pocket.

Inside Williamson's home, officers found cocaine, marijuana and a variety of prescription pain pills.

Williamson, who was home at the time, was arrested. Officers found pistols, rifles, shotguns, and assorted ammunition in her bedroom.

Since she is a previously convicted felon for drug related offenses, she is not allowed to posses weapons.

In all, 329 prescription pain pills, approximately 23 grams of cocaine and approximately 50 grams of marijuana were seized.
