KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The 6 Storm Team says Thursday is mild with highs near 60 degrees. Clouds will thicken up as we go through the afternoon. Lows Thursday night will be in the mid 40s, but we will stay mostly dry.
Rain returns on Friday with a 40 percent chance, mostly after lunchtime, and it's going to be wet for some of the high school football playoff games with a high of 66 degrees.
On Saturday, it will rain early with a 70 percent chance. However, the rain will be gone by noon. After lunch on Saturday, temperatures fall.
We'll make it to around 53 degrees by about 11 a.m., before it falls during the afternoon, and it will also be windy.
If you are going to Neyland Stadium, at the 7 p.m. kickoff it will be in the mid-40s and fall into the mid-30s by the time the game ends.
Overnight lows continue to fall to 26 degrees by early Sunday morning, and Sunday's high is only 39 degrees.
