KNOXVILLE (WATE) - One of this week's low scoring restaurants just eked by with a passing grade, but the other didn't.

Blue Coast Grill, 37 Market Square - Grade: 67

A grade below 70 is considered unsanitary.

The inspector found sour cream dip sitting on top of ice. The dip had not been submerged in the ice, so the temperature was 50 degrees instead of the required 41.

The inspector observed a kitchen worker wash and rinse a knife, which is great. However, the worker did not sanitize the knife, which is required at restaurants.

Another employee was seen eating some food while working in the kitchen. It probably tasted great, but they're not supposed to nibble on food while working and preparing your food.

Wing Zone, 2121 Cumberland Avenue - Grade: 71

71 is a passing score.

A bunch of flies were found near the dishwasher. The inspector suggested that a pest control company make a visit.

The restaurant's kitchen hand sink was found not working. It's supposed to work so employees can wash their hands.

An employee was drinking from a cup that didn't have either a lid on it or a straw. They're required to prevent any accidents.
