BLUFF CITY, TN (WJHL) -

A Sullivan County drug bust has landed five people behind bars, after homeowners returned to find their house was the site of a meth lab.

Just before 11:00 Friday night, the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a burglary on Littrell Private Drive, in Bluff City. The homeowners told dispatchers they had just arrived home after being out of town, and found two cars in the in the driveway they didn't recognize.

After officers arrived, two males, including the homeowner's grandson, Wesley O'Dell, came out of the home, along with a female. O'Dell did not have permission to be there. A search revealed another male, David Jones, was in the basement of the home. A K9 found Erica Moore hiding in a small cubby hole.

During the search, officers saw several one pot meth labs in plain view. Searching the home, detectives found 4 active one pot labs,1 used cook bottle, 13 used gas generator bottles as well as a number of ingredients used in the meth making process.

Wesley O'Dell told officers that the other suspects paid him $100 to allow them to cook meth in the home. The home has been quarantined.

All five suspects were decontaminated at the scene, and transported to the Sullivan County Correctional Facility on burglary, and promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.
