KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two people were injured in an early morning head-on crash in Knoxville Tuesday morning.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says it happened just before 3 a.m. at the intersection of Oak Ridge Highway and Ball Road.

Officials on scene told 6 News two victims were transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. One of the men was in critical condition.

Authorities cleared the wreck by 4:45 a.m.
