BULLS GAP (WATE) - A family in Hawkins County continues their search for their 63-year-old uncle, missing now for almost three weeks. They're asking for your help because all of their efforts to find their loved one are coming up empty.

Kenneth Ramsey was last seen on November 15 near his home on Walker Church Road in Bulls Gap. His family members are still holding onto hope that he is okay, but they're worried because he is in bad health.

A simple note from loved ones hangs on Kenneth Ramsey's door to give them a call when he returns. He has been missing for 18 days.

"I believe he's alive, and I'm hoping to find him," said his nephew Michael Ramsey.

Uneasiness is starting to sink in for his family members, who say Ramsey leaving like this is strange because his car, clothes, and medicine were left behind.

"He wears a sling, he has a bad arm, and it's there at the house. His cane is there, but he went without his cane a lot here this last little bit. But nothing is missing. It's like he just got up and walked outside," said Ramsey.

Everyday, loved ones comb over the field behind Ramsey's home hoping they will find a clue.

"The first thought I had was to check the field, and of course, I did, and the police officer that came, he checked it with me," added Ramsey.

So far, the family has found no signs of him.

The family has posted signs throughout the Bulls Gap community, but until Ramsey comes home, his family is relying on faith to pull through.

"I have a lot of hope. Of course I put my hope in Jesus and I have a lot of hope that he's alive. I don't want to give up until I find him," added Ramsey.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators with the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office at (423) 272-4848. Detectives describe Kenneth Ramsey as having blue eyes with brown and gray hair along with a mustache.
