"Picture perfect" weather expected for Easter Sunday

Today’s forecast is just about “picture perfect”. We will see plenty of sunshine, light wind, low relative humidity values and highs right about where we should be for this time of year, so please enjoy it! The area of high pressure giving us this nice day will slowly drift eastward on Monday, but we should still see a lot of sunshine and temperatures in the low-mid 70s. KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A suspect has turned himself into Knoxville Police Department investigators, charged with burglarizing the Guardian Armory early on Thanksgiving morning.

Zachary Aaron Long, 20, is charged with one count of burglary and one count of felony theft.

KPD says Long turned himself in on Sunday and admitted to purchasing items needed to facilitate the burglary and then committing the burglary.

Guardian Armory on North Seven Oaks Drive was burglarized around 2:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. Police had said a suspect or suspects got away with 27 weapons; 24 were reported as handguns and three were reported as long guns, meaning a shotgun or a rifle.

Officers have not said if any weapons have been recovered.
