Rain continues overnight, drier air settles Saturday

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A cold front will slowly push to the east overnight keeping the rain going into the early morning hours. There is a chance of some light icing along the plateau before sunrise with the biggest impact on isolated bridges and overpasses.

Drier air should settle in on Saturday providing a break from the rain.

The front should move north on Sunday bringing another round of light to moderate rain through Monday.

Colder air wraps in late Monday night and may create a light mix early Tuesday followed by drier air for a few days
