KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Good Samaritan pulled a woman out of her burning car Sunday afternoon in South Knox County.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says the woman was driving southbound around 2:20 p.m. on Kimberlin Heights Road when she hydroplaned.

Her 2005 Subaru Baja then left the roadway, overturned, struck a tree and caught on fire.

Officials say that's when Dustin Brackins, 31, of Seymour, pulled the victim from her car before it fully burst into flames.

When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, the woman was transported by Rural/Metro to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

No charges are being filed in the crash.
