Some icing expected overnight, especially north of Knoxville

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - One last area of low pressure will slide across the viewing area this evening bringing another round of light to moderate rain. 

The rain could mix with some snowflakes in the valley, but no problems are expected as we stay above freezing with a cold rain. 

There could be some small ice or snow accumulations in the counties north of Knoxville along the plateau as temperatures drop close to or below freezing.

A winter weather advisory is posted for counties along the plateau and into southeast Kentucky. Be aware of some icing possibilities on bridges and overpasses, especially north of Knoxville.  

High pressure settles in late Tuesday and dries the region out Wednesday through Friday.
