Steady rain fading to drizzle for much of Saturday

It will be a soggy start to our Saturday, but the steady rain doesn't last all day. In fact, most of the steady rain pushes out by early afternoon, but low clouds and areas of drizzle will persist most of the day. As colder air filters in overnight, there could be a few light snow showers or flurries, but accumulations, if any, would be light and mainly across higher elevation areas. It will remain variably cloudy and cold on Sunday with highs struggling to get back to 40° in most areas.  A quieter and slightly warmer weather pattern sets in for the first of the work week Monday and Tuesday as highs creep back closer to near-average levels. A "dry" cold front pushes through Tuesday P.M. and knocks highs back down into the low-mid 40s by Wednesday, but no rain or snow is expected. The next opportunity for rain rolls in late Friday into Saturday.

Today: Rain likely early (100% coverage) with lingering clouds and patchy drizzle late day. High: 47°.

Tonight: Remaining mostly cloudy with a few random flurries at times. Low: 35°.

Sunday: Variably cloudy and chilly. High: 41°.
