KNOXVILLE (WATE) - An accident investigation team returned Monday to the West Knox County site where a Tennessee Army National Guard helicopter made a hard landing Friday night, burning on impact.

A team from the Combat Readiness Center at Ft. Rucker, Ala. was on site Monday investigating the OH-58D helicopter's hard landing during a routine training flight.

The incident happened Friday night around 7 p.m. off Yarnell Road.

Two pilots were treated for non-life threatening injuries at UT Medical Center and released.

The aviation team will continue their investigation of the site before the aircraft is moved to the Army Aviation Facility at McGhee Tyson ANGB.
