Shots fired at 3 Knoxville homes Monday night


KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police are investigating three incidents Monday where shots were fired into three separate residences. No one was injured.

The first happened at 8:18 p.m. at 733 Alfredda Delaney Street. Police say the house was hit approximately five times. Two people were home at the time of the shooting and evidence was recovered from the scene.

The second incident happened only seconds later at 908 Knoxville College Drive, which is just around the corner from the first location. The residence was hit several times.

Multiple people were inside at the time of the shooting, but had left prior to officers' arrival.

The third incident happened around 11 p.m. at 1325 Minnesota Avenue. This home was also hit multiple times. One man was home at the time.

Evidence recovered from all three scenes is being examined, and investigators are following a couple of leads. Police have not yet determined if all three shootings are connected.
