Man arrested in robbery of North Knoxville pharmacy

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Mascot man was arrested Monday night for robbing a pharmacy on North Broadway in Knoxville.

Ronald Dean Rosenbaum, 54, is charged with two counts of armed robbery, driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license.

Police accuse Rosenbaum of robbing the Walgreens located at 2400 N. Broadway around 6 p.m. Monday.

Responding officers received information that the suspect vehicle was traveling east on Washington Pike and quickly arrived in the area. The suspect was taken into custody without problems at 6:17 p.m. and was taken back to Walgreens for a positive ID.

The knife used in the robbery and drugs taken from the pharmacy were found on Rosenbaum's person.
