MORRISTOWN (WATE) - A Morristown man out on probation after being arrested for several car burglaries was arrested again Tuesday for yet another string of car burglaries.

Daniel Chase Ingham is charged with 13 counts of auto burglary, one count of possession of stolen property, one count of criminal trespassing, and one count of burglary.

The Hamblen County Sheriff's Office says the burglaries began in the west end of Hamblen County near Talbott and Alpha in September 2013. The burglaries then mysteriously ceased, only to begin again in late November.

A later investigation showed Ingham had been incarcerated from September 21 to November 21 on previous auto burglary charges.

Deputies say Ingham began burglarizing vehicles again only two days after his release.

Through careful detective work and help from a Hamblen County resident, the sheriff's department was able to recover stolen items and charge Ingham.

Deputies say the investigation heated up when the citizen bought a laptop and discovered it was registered to another Hamblen County resident. He was able to contact the rightful owner who said he had reported it stolen.

After questioning, Ingham led detectives to several locations where they recovered several iPhones, radar detectors, GPS systems, flashlights, tools and backpacks full of books.

Three others were also arrested and charged with auto burglary: Lucas Tyler Rolen and Elizabeth Vanatter, both of Morristown, and Dawn Louise House of Dandridge.
