Fair skies tonight and tomorrow, clouds increase Friday

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - High pressure remains in control of our weather pattern tonight through Friday, bringing fair skies and a gradual warming trend.

Clouds will increase Friday leading to a small chance of rain late in the day.

A few scattered showers are possible Saturday and southerly breezes increase ahead of a strong cold front.

The cold front will increase our rain and thunderstorm chances Sunday followed by cooler and drier air to start Christmas week.

Right now Christmas Day looks dry.  Winter officially begins Saturday afternoon.

TONIGHT: A Starry Sky: 29°

THURSDAY: Mostly Sunny: 49°

THURSDAY NIGHT: Thin Clouds: 39°

FRIDAY: Clouds Increase/Slim Rain Chance:  62

SATURDAY: Partly Cloudy/Random Showers (30%) 66°

SUNDAY: T-Storms Possible: 70°
