KNOXVILLE (WATE) - After a chilly Thursday morning, we will slowly warm to a high of near 60 degrees in the afternoon.
The 6 Storm Team says lows Thursday night will be in the mid 30s before climbing back to around 60 degrees on Friday.
Highs keep climbing this weekend. We're near 70 degrees both Saturday and Sunday.
However, along with the warmer temperatures, rain returns. We have a 20 percent chance for an isolated shower Friday evening.
That goes up to 40 percent on Saturday, but it's not a wash out. The showers will be hit or miss for Saturday.
Sunday is our wettest day with a 70 percent coverage of rain and some heavy downpours. As we edge closer to Christmas, we dry out and cool down.
THURSDAY: Sunny. High: 58
THURSDAY NIGHT: Partly Cloudy. Low: 35
FRIDAY: Clouds Thicken. Breezy. High: 60
